I've decided for Kiss Your Ears King Kong Bass Traps in late 2021, then upgraded a couple more units over time and eventually ended up with 21 units for my 14m2 studio. The Team over time was very helpful and reachable for questions respective the DIY installation plus room tuning and made me offers to upgrade along the way. Having done so, I can say that I am absolutely satisfied with the result and it surly comes at the absolute best quality-price ration available anywhere, really. Through the measurements I know my room in all it's details now and was able to reach a very flat, balanced and pleasant response that allows for smooth working in both Mixing and Mastering. Do it - it isn't hoax, it works and you'll be stoked with the result!

After years of researching the space for the new studio of my RedDress company, I spent several months researching for a professional, efficient and smart solution for the acoustic treatment of the space. As I had in mind a clear plan of the space and my needs as a music creator, I would avoid to spend extra money in external consultants and keep the total control of the studio organization. Thanks to the Instagram adv I found this little new company from Berlin with a funny and intriguing name called Kiss Your Ears. The videos on the website were straight to the point, no bullshits, no fancy stuff, just the right tools for audio professionals. And last but not least, the price absolutely interesting considering the competitors around the Europe. After my first email I was immediately in contact with the founder Jon Doig that understand my needs and in few simple step we organized the order. Also, I had the good opportunity to his coming in my studio for a guide installation and the acoustic analysis of the space. Was great meet him and his team, taking part directly into the process of the acoustic treatment. We had wonderful time all together with italian lunch and dinner too of course! The day after the installation, when finally I turned on some music, I was astonished about the result: I never listened like this from my speakers, I had the sensation to had a totally new, top of the top quality equipment. The precision of the basses, the mid and the high perfectly balanced, the stereo image so clear and opened: a professional studio for making music. I'm really happy about the result, the balance between price/quality it's absolutely great. I think at this day, there are no alternatives like this on the market. Jon is also a very passionate guy with a strong enterprising spirit. He follows the process in a very meticolous way and he doesn't leave you alone after the job done. The new products of Kiss Your Ears are promising and now that the control room is done, I'm going to plan the treatment of the rest of the studio!

I was looking for a satisfactory acoustic solution for my home studio. The good and fair prices that Kiss Your Ears offers for its acoustic modules were unbeatable for me compared to other providers. I'm a musician and have spent the better part of the last decade or so trying to get better at recording. Over that period, I've turned the band practice room into a project studio and now have 4 King Kong Classic bass traps set up around the monitoring area - two over head and two to the sides. All four bass traps are positioned roughly where the first reflection points are. In general I notice a much clearer representation of all the instruments. I can easily pick out the bass guitar, the kick drum, the guitars, vocals, synth, etc. The real eye opener for me though came when I listened to the mixes the next day on my usual playback systems, which include Teufel shelf speakers, a JBL Flip 4 bluetooth speaker, an iPhone and a car stereo. What I heard in the studio translated so well over those systems. The bass was strong, present but not overpowering, the highs were pristine and everything else in between was just right. All that from only four bass traps so I really look forward to the frequency response getting smoother with the addition of more. From a visual point of view, the traps look great. I have them in Vit and it's a nice contrast to dark studio environment. They're pretty big but I'm pleased at how little space they take up once installed. And on that point, the installation process was easy. The wood is high quality so screwing in some hooks was a breeze. And not that this is important but I really like the smell of freshly cut and sanded wood when I walk into the studio. It's a real treat. Regarding customer service, Jon has been superb. He was so helpful throughout and called me afterwards to see how it was going with the new traps. He didn't have to call afterwards but he did and I appreciate it. Anyway, that's been my experience so far and I hope that helps anyone who is thinking about upgrading their studio. Thanks Jon and KYE!
